The first in the False Prophets album trilogy, "False Prophets in the Group Think" sets the stage for the following two albums which share its themes and even lyrical content while differing in approach.

This first record of three ranges from organic piano pop to droney psychedelic rock and is heavily folk-influenced. It also marks the final appearances of long-time contributor Tommy Garcia.
